Hayate Group Acquires Rental Residential Property in Meguro
Hayate 103, a company of Hayate Group, acquired EN Shimomeguro, a rental residential property in Shimomeguro 2-chome, Meguro Ward, Tokyo, on August 31, 2026. The seller was an individual's asset management company.
The property is located a ten-minute walk from "Meguro" Station and an eight-minute walk from "Fudomae" Station on the Tokyu Meguro Line. Completed in 2007, it is a four-story building above ground with 16 units in total, targeting singles and DINKs.
The company acquired the property based on its location within walking distance of Meguro Station, a major station in Tokyo. It plans to lease up the partially vacant units to raise occupancy and then resell the property as a whole-building income-producing asset targeting ultra-high-net-worth investors.
Rents around stations in the southwestern part of the Yamanote Line, including Meguro Station, have risen significantly over the past three years, with the Meguro Station area up approximately 24% through the end of July 2026. The company plans to continue acquiring income-producing real estate in Sapporo, Tokyo's 23 wards and Fukuoka.
