Kasumigaseki Capital Starts Hotel Development in Las Vegas
Kasumigaseki Capital announced on Aug. 24, 2026, that it has launched a hotel development project in Las Vegas, Nevada, tentatively named the Las Vegas 4000 Paradise Hotel Project. Kasumigaseki Nevada LLC, funded by the company and its U.S. subsidiary Kasumigaseki US Corporation, acquired the hotel site. Construction is scheduled to start in the summer of 2028, with completion in the fall or winter of 2029 and an opening planned for the spring of 2030.
The development site sits about 2 kilometers from the center of the Las Vegas Strip, midway between Harry Reid International Airport and the Las Vegas Convention Center, on a site of approximately 6,623 tsubo (approx. 235,700 sq. ft.). In Las Vegas, the Sphere, a large entertainment complex, opened in 2023, and Major League Baseball's Athletics are scheduled to move their home to the city in 2028. The company expects a broad base of lodging demand, spanning tourism and entertainment as well as convention attendees and business travelers.
In Japan, Kasumigaseki Capital operates hotel brands including fav, FAV LUX, seven x seven, edit x seven and BASE LAYER HOTEL, running 22 properties with a total of 1,291 rooms nationwide as of the end of July 2026.
