CenterPoint Development Completes CPD Hasuda Logistics Facility in Saitama

CPD Hasuda, a multi-tenant logistics facility developed by CenterPoint Development (CPD) in Hasuda City, Saitama Prefecture, was completed on August 31, 2026. The four-story facility has a gross floor area of approximately 6,254 tsubo (approx. 222,500 sq. ft.). It is the northernmost of the logistics facilities the company supplies in the Kanto region.

The property is approximately 0.9 km from the Hasuda Smart Interchange (inbound) on the Tohoku Expressway and approximately 9 km from the Iwatsuki Interchange. With easy access to National Routes 122 and 16 in addition to the Tohoku Expressway, it can handle both short-distance deliveries to the Tokyo metropolitan area and wide-area distribution across the Kanto region.

The company said that, as the supply of logistics facilities in the Kanto region spreads beyond the Ken-O Expressway, it has delivered a facility inside the Ken-O Expressway that can serve wide-area distribution to both the Tokyo metropolitan area and the northern Kanto region. Target tenants include expanding e-commerce operators, logistics companies handling consumer deliveries such as retail goods, and pharmaceutical shippers with distribution networks covering the Tokyo metropolitan area and northern Kanto. In particular, the company expects consumer-focused logistics companies to use the facility as a relay hub that links cargo to last-mile bases in each area.

The first floor features an outdoor berth with a 10-meter canopy and raised truck berths that can accommodate 18 trucks simultaneously, equipped with dock levelers and climbing levelers that double as forklift ramps. The building can be divided into up to three units, with the smallest unit measuring approximately 1,850 tsubo (approx. 65,800 sq. ft.). The warehouse areas on the second through fourth floors are equipped with work-area air conditioning, a specification the company says is unique among logistics facilities in the surrounding area.

The company will continue developing logistics facilities, with CPD Fukuoka, which has a gross floor area of approximately 43,000 sq. m (approx. 462,900 sq. ft.), scheduled for completion in Fukuoka Prefecture in April 2027.
