FAV LUX Asahikawa To Open in Hokkaido by Kasumigaseki Capital Group, SQUEEZE
FHG HOTELS (fav hospitality group), a subsidiary of Kasumigaseki Capital, will open FAV LUX Asahikawa in Nijo-dori 7-chome, Asahikawa City, Hokkaido, on February 1, 2027. SQUEEZE Inc. will handle operations. This marks the second collaboration between SQUEEZE and the Kasumigaseki Capital Group in hotel operations, following FAV LUX Sapporo Susukino, which opened in July 2025.
The hotel is located a seven-minute walk from Asahikawa Station on JR lines and approximately 30 minutes by car from Asahikawa Airport. It will offer 64 rooms across seven room types, accommodating groups of up to six guests, ranging from 28-square-meter (approx. 300 sq. ft.) twin and king rooms to a 70-square-meter (approx. 800 sq. ft.) sauna suite with a private sauna. The top floor will feature a rooftop spa and sauna, with terrace views overlooking the Taisetsu mountain range beyond the city of Asahikawa.
FHG HOTELS operates the group-stay-focused "fav" brand and its upscale "FAV LUX" brand, as well as "seven x seven," "edit x seven" and "BASE LAYER HOTEL." In addition to hotel operations, SQUEEZE utilizes its in-house AX platform, "suitebook." All properties operated by the Kasumigaseki Capital Group have adopted the system.
