SQUEEZE To Open Apartment Hotel in Osaka’s Nipponbashi

SQUEEZE will open Minn Namba-Nipponbashi, an apartment hotel in Nipponbashi-nishi 1-chome, Naniwa Ward, Osaka City, in July 2026. Daiichi Realtor owns and developed the property, while SQUEEZE will handle services ranging from planning and system implementation to on-site operations.

The hotel will have 48 rooms and accommodate up to 299 guests. All rooms will be at least 40 square meters (approx. 431 sq. ft.) and will be configured to accommodate up to eight guests. The property is located a five-minute walk from Nipponbashi Station and an eight-minute walk from Namba Station, facing Osaka Nipponbashi Ota Road. The surrounding area has a concentration of anime and game-related stores and is also close to the Namba and Dotonbori areas. Against the backdrop of recovering inbound demand, the hotel is expected to serve as a lodging base for travelers staying in groups.

SQUEEZE provides hotel planning and operations, BPO services and AI-based hospitality operations support centered on suitebook, its AX platform for lodging facilities. As of May 20, 2026, its apartment hotel brand Minn operated 34 properties nationwide. Recently, the company opened Minn Oku-Asakusa, and it is also scheduled to open Minn Sapporo Odori Nishi 14 in June 2026, continuing to expand the brand. Daiichi Realtor, the project sponsor, has previously collaborated with SQUEEZE on properties including Minn Nipponbashi, Minn Akihabara, Minn Ueno-Shin-Okachimachi and Minn Kasai. More recently, the company increased its stake in SQUEEZE. According to an amendment report filed June 8, its ownership ratio rose to 8.67% as of June 1, up 1.08 percentage points. The partnership is advancing by combining Daiichi Realtor’s hotel development capabilities with SQUEEZE’s operating platform.
