Kakusei Acquires Office Building in Asakusabashi
Kakusei acquired Asakusabashi 1st Building, an office building in Asakusabashi 5-chome, Taito Ward, Tokyo, in June 2026. The seller was J1planning, which had acquired the property in February 2023 for a holding period of approximately three years and three months.
The property is located a nine-minute walk from "Asakusabashi" Station on the JR Sobu Line and Toei Asakusa Line, and a 10-minute walk from "Shin-Okachimachi" Station on the Toei Oedo Line and Tsukuba Express. Completed in 1986, it is an eight-story building above ground with a standard floor area of approximately 75 tsubo (approx. 2,700 sq. ft.). A nursery school occupies the lower floors.
The seller, J1planning, was founded in 2002 and focuses mainly on acquiring whole buildings, condominiums and apartment buildings, while also engaging in redevelopment projects. In 2025, it also acquired properties in Wakabayashi, Setagaya Ward, and in Kanda, Chiyoda Ward.

In February 2026, it acquired residential land in Akatsukashinmachi, Itabashi Ward, from Open House Real Estate.
