Tokyu Land Completes LOGI'Q Kobe Shin-Nagata Logistics Facility Using 3D Printing

LOGI'Q Kobe Shin-Nagata, a logistics facility Tokyu Land had been developing in Nagata-ku, Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, was completed on August 31, 2026. It is the fourth property in the Kansai region under the company's LOGI'Q logistics series, following LOGI'Q Hirakata, LOGI'Q Kumiyama and LOGI'Q Minami-Ibaraki.
The four-story building has a gross floor area of approximately 17,140 tsubo (approx. 609,900 sq. ft.). The first and second floors have a combined 44 truck berths, and the facility can accommodate up to six tenants. It sits approximately 2.3 kilometers from the Minatogawa Interchange on Hanshin Expressway Route 3 and approximately 1.7 kilometers from the JR Kobe Freight Terminal, and the company positions it as a hub for wide-area transport linking the Kanto region, Kyushu and international ports.
To coincide with completion, Tokyu Land worked with Serendix, a construction 3D printing company, to build Green Port, an outdoor rest area on open space within the site. It is the first time Tokyu Land has adopted 3D printing technology. Columns and benches were produced by extruding a special mortar in layers, with each column taking under an hour and on-site assembly and concrete placement finished in about a day and a half. Serendix built serendix10, Japan's first 3D-printed house, in March 2022 and produced the world's first 3D-printed station building in 2025. The two companies say they will continue to explore uses for 3D printing technology.
Logistics facilities in Kobe have grown roughly 2.5-fold on a gross floor area basis over the past decade, reaching approximately 690,000 tsubo (approx. 24.55 million sq. ft.) as of August 2026. In 2025, GLP Japan completed GLP Kobe Sumiyoshihama with a gross floor area of approximately 14,000 tsubo (approx. 498,200 sq. ft.), and Daibiru completed CPD Nishinomiya-Kita EAST with approximately 73,000 tsubo (approx. 2,597,600 sq. ft.), continuing a run of large-scale logistics supply (compiled by the editorial team based on estie Logistics Research).
