Daibiru Completes Fully Leased “CPD Nishinomiya-Kita EAST” Logistics Facility in Kobe
Daibiru Corporation has completed the development of the multi-tenant logistics facility “CPD Nishinomiya-Kita EAST” through a special purpose company formed by CenterPoint Development Inc. The property was completed on July 31, and lease agreements with tenant companies have already been finalized, achieving full occupancy at launch.
The facility is located near the Hanshin Distribution Center, about 2 kilometers from the Nishinomiya-Kita Interchange on the Chugoku Expressway, with convenient access to both the Shin-Meishin Expressway and Hanshin Expressway Kita-Kobe Route. It also sits within a five-minute walk from Okaba Station on the Kobe Electric Railway Sanda Line, providing commuter-friendly accessibility for employees.
The six-story building adopts a base-isolated structure and features double rampways that allow truck access to each floor. Equipped with 52 dock berths for low-floor trucks on the first level and a total of 330 berths across the property, the facility is designed to maximize efficiency in freight handling and storage.
Sustainability measures include high-insulation sandwich panels, energy-efficient HVAC systems, and LED lighting. The property has earned CASBEE “A Rank,” BELS “5 Stars,” and ZEB Ready certification, while also being equipped with emergency power generators for enhanced business continuity planning (BCP).
The related “Nishinomiya-Kita WEST” facility was completed earlier in February 2025 and was fully pre-leased at launch. Together, the two projects illustrate steady expansion of logistics real estate in the Hanshin area.
