Ark Securities Reacquires Ikeshita Homes Rental Apartment in Nagoya After 11 Years

Ark Securities acquired Ikeshita Homes, a rental apartment building in Koyo 1-chome, Chikusa-ku, Nagoya, in April 2026. The seller was M.M. Sisters, which is headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo.

Completed in 1986, the six-story property has 46 units and stands a three-minute walk from Ikeshita Station on the Nagoya Municipal Subway Higashiyama Line. Ikeshita Station provides direct service to Sakae Station and Nagoya Station without transfers, and the area around Imaike Station, one stop to the west, has a concentration of retail and dining establishments.

As of the end of July 2026, average asking rents for rental apartments within a 10-minute walk of Ikeshita Station stood at approximately JPY 8,110 per tsubo. Asking rents within a 10-minute walk of both Imaike Station and Sakae Station exceeded JPY 8,500 per tsubo, leaving the Ikeshita Station area with comparable access to central Nagoya at rents below those of the two neighboring station areas (compiled by the editorial team based on estie Residential Research).

The property's original owner at completion was Ark Building. Ownership transferred to Ark Tochi Tatemono in 1999 and to Ark Securities in 2001. Ark Securities held the asset for about 14 years before selling it to M.M. Sisters in 2015. The company has now reacquired the property after roughly 11 years.

In addition to its securities business, Ark Securities engages in real estate leasing, sales and brokerage, and owns properties in Nagoya and Tokyo. The latest acquisition adds a Nagoya rental apartment building to its holdings.
