Urban Renaissance Agency Acquires Retail and Office Building in Nishi-Shinjuku

The Urban Renaissance Agency (UR) acquired I&K Building, a retail and office property in Nishi-Shinjuku 1-chome, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, in February 2026. It purchased the two separately owned portions that make up the building from an individual owner and from Isakoma Co., Ltd., respectively.

The property is a one-minute walk from Shinjuku-nishiguchi Station on the Toei Oedo Line and a three-minute walk from JR Shinjuku Station. Completed in 1984, the five-story building has a typical floor plate of approximately 21 tsubo (approx. 700 sq. ft.). Tenants include restaurants and medical clinics.

UR acquires land and reorganizes urban districts as part of its urban renewal programs. Around the west side of Shinjuku Station, it also acquired the Musashiya KA Building, located directly across Ome-kaido from this property, in December 2021.
