Shinagawa Intercity to Undergo Major Commercial Renovation by March 2026

Nippon Steel Kowa Real Estate announced a major renovation of the commercial area at Shinagawa Intercity, a large-scale mixed-use complex located at the Konan exit of Shinagawa Station. The renewed space will begin opening in phases from mid-September 2025, with full completion scheduled for March 2026.

Since its opening in 1998, Shinagawa Intercity has served as a catalyst for redevelopment in the surrounding area. The renovation will introduce Japan’s largest station-connected brewery restaurant, YONA YONA TOKYO BREWERY, featuring an on-site brewery in the Shop & Restaurant building’s basement level. In addition, Sega Sammy Group will open STUDIO LUX, a dance studio, in the B Tower’s basement level dining zone. The upgrades aim to create a vibrant environment fostering interaction among people across different generations and lifestyles.
