Nomura Real Estate Completes First Overseas Logistics Facility in the Philippines
UNIQLO Logistics Facility, a logistics facility in the Cavite Project being advanced by Nomura Real Estate through Federal Land NRE Global Inc. (FNG), a joint venture established with major Philippine developer Federal Land, Inc., was completed in April 2026. The facility is Nomura Real Estate’s first logistics facility outside Japan.
The facility is a large-scale logistics hub developed in collaboration with Fast Retailing Philippines, Inc., with a site area of approximately 18,150 tsubo (approx. 646,000 sq. ft.) and leasable area of approximately 11,495 tsubo (approx. 409,100 sq. ft.). It is the largest facility in Southeast Asia for the company. Leveraging its location in Cavite Province, adjacent to Metro Manila, the facility will strengthen the product supply network across the Philippines.
The Cavite Project is a large-scale suburban township development with a total site area of approximately 600 hectares, under way in Imus City and General Trias City in Cavite Province. FNG joined the project in 2022 and acquired a total of approximately 230 hectares of land. Over more than 30 years, the company plans to develop residential, retail, educational, logistics and other urban functions in an integrated manner.
Nomura Real Estate Group positions FNG as its business platform in the Philippines and is advancing the project through a joint venture structure that combines Federal Land’s local network and development platform with Nomura Real Estate’s expertise in real estate development and operations. The group is expected to continue strengthening its long-term business platform in the Philippines and expanding overseas earnings through FNG.
