Mitsubishi Estate to Launch “Logicross Nagoya Minato,” One of Western Japan’s Largest Amazon Fulfillment Centers

On July 1, Mitsubishi Estate announced its latest logistics facility under the “Logicross” brand: Logicross Nagoya Minato, slated to begin operations in August 2025. With a gross floor area of approximately 37,900 tsubo (approx. 125,200 sq. ft.), it will become one of the largest Amazon-dedicated fulfillment centers (FCs) in western Japan.
The four-story facility is located just a 3-minute walk from Arakogawa Koen Station on the Aonami Line and is near the Komei Interchange of the Nagoya Expressway Route 4 Tokai Line. Designed in collaboration with Amazon, the project features 5.5 MW of solar panels installed on the roof and southern façade, and utilizes 200 underground heat exchangers reaching 100 meters deep to reduce energy consumption by approximately 30% compared to conventional standards.
The building has already obtained a BELS 6-Star certification and is expected to achieve Zero Carbon Certification by the Living Future Institute in 2026 based on post-occupancy performance data. Under its sustainability vision “Be the Ecosystem Engineers,” Mitsubishi Estate positions the Logicross series as a showcase for cutting-edge environmental technologies, aiming to balance asset value with social impact.
Amazon plans to implement advanced robotics and automated packaging systems at the site, with the goal of creating thousands of new jobs and strengthening its regional delivery network.
