Saitama Logistics Facility Completed in Ageo by Mitsui Bussan Urban Development
Mitsui Bussan Urban Development has completed LOGIBASE Ageo, a logistics facility it had been developing in Ageo, Saitama Prefecture, in April 2026. The project marks the company’s second logistics facility development in Saitama Prefecture, following LOGIBASE Kawagoe.
The four-story building has a site area of approximately 2,133 tsubo (approx. 253,900 sq. ft.) and a Gross Floor Area of approximately 4,364 tsubo (approx. 519,400 sq. ft.). The property is located about 8.0 kilometers from the Okegawa-Kitamoto interchange on the Ken-O Expressway and is also close to major arterial roads, including National Routes 16 and 17. The location is well suited for use as a regional distribution hub serving the Tokyo metropolitan area, and multiple logistics facilities are clustered in the surrounding area. The facility has been fully leased and is scheduled to begin operations in May this year under a single-tenant occupancy.
Mitsui Bussan Urban Development operates the LOGIBASE logistics facility brand. In 2027, two additional projects are scheduled for completion: the tentatively named Higashiyawata 4-Chome Logistics Center in Hiratsuka, a joint venture with Tokyo Tatemono, and T-LOGI Funabashi Minamikaijin. Through these projects, the company will continue supplying logistics facilities in the Tokyo metropolitan area.
