Rental Apartment Building in Kameido, Koto Ward, Completed by Daiwa Motor Transportation
Daiwa Motor Transportation’s rental apartment building, “Daiwa Grace Maison Kameido,” was completed on April 30, 2026.
The property is located a six-minute walk southwest of Kameido Station on the JR Chuo-Sobu Line and Tobu Kameido Line. The building is an eight-story, reinforced-concrete structure with 21 units. Unit layouts include 1DK, 1LDK and 3LDK floor plans.
The project appears to be the third major project in the company group’s real estate business, which centers on the redevelopment of owned properties and was announced and advanced by the group in 2024. Located along the JR Sobu Line with convenient access to eastern central Tokyo, the property is believed to be aimed at capturing a broad range of rental demand, from single-person households to families.
Daiwa Motor Transportation is a transportation operator whose core businesses are taxis and hired-car services. In its real estate business, the company also manages and operates rental properties, and owns nine office buildings and eight apartment buildings in the Tokyo metropolitan area. In its Medium-Term Management Plan 2027, the company has set out a policy of promoting renovations of existing properties to improve yields. This project appears to be positioned as one of the company’s initiatives to strengthen its earnings base by renewing assets it owns in Tokyo’s 23 wards.
