APA Hotel Opens 389-Room Property in Saitama Shintoshin, Third Consecutive Opening in Saitama Prefecture

APA Hotel opened APA Hotel Saitama Shintoshin Eki Nishi in Chuo Ward, Saitama City, on June 18, 2026. The property is the company’s seventh hotel in Saitama Prefecture, and APA Hotel has opened three properties in the prefecture in succession this month.

The hotel has 389 rooms and offers eight room types, ranging from single rooms to deluxe twin rooms and connecting rooms. All rooms are equipped with Wi-Fi 6, the next-generation Wi-Fi standard, large LCD televisions of 50 inches or larger, and a five-language in-building information system that automatically switches the display language by reading a guest’s passport, reflecting the hotel’s focus on capturing growing demand from inbound visitors to Japan. Some guestrooms facing the elevated railway tracks use double-glazed windows, with consideration given to sound insulation and thermal performance.

The property is located a five-minute walk from Saitama-Shintoshin Station on JR lines and Kita-Yono Station on the JR Saikyo Line. With convenient access linking Tokyo and northern Kanto, and proximity to GMO Arena Saitama, formerly Saitama Super Arena, the hotel expects to capture lodging demand from business travelers, domestic leisure travelers and event attendees.

APA Hotel plans to continue pursuing its dominant strategy in areas where demand is expected, taking into account improvements in operating and staffing efficiency. In June 2026, the company also opened APA Hotel Kumagaya Ekimae Kita and APA Hotel Saitama Ageo Ekimae in Saitama Prefecture, as it seeks to capture lodging demand in the northern Tokyo metropolitan area.
