Nippon Steel Kowa Real Estate Acquires Rental Apartment Building in Kiyosumi-Shirakawa
Nippon Steel Kowa Real Estate acquired ownership of Orchid Residence Kiyosumi-Shirakawa, a rental apartment building in Fukagawa 2-chome, Koto Ward, Tokyo, in April 2026. The property had been held in trust with Mizuho Trust & Banking since January 2023, and the company took over the trust assets upon termination of the trust. The seller was Tokyo Resi 33 GK.
The property is located a seven-minute walk from "Monzen-Nakacho" Station on the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line and Toei Oedo Line and a seven-minute walk from "Kiyosumi-Shirakawa" Station on the Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line and Toei Oedo Line, close to Kiyosumi Park. Completed in 1986, it is an eight-story building above ground with 28 units ranging from studio (1R) to three-bedroom (3LDK) layouts. In addition to residential units, tenants include the Tokyo sales office of Rex, a measuring instrument rental company, as well as a children's education school and a hair salon.
The property was acquired in March 2017 by real estate company Dear Life under the name Kiyosumi View Terrace. At the time, Dear Life indicated a policy of renovating the interiors, exteriors and building systems and leasing up the property. In May 2018, SKD9 Tokutei Mokuteki Kaisha acquired it, and in January 2023 the property was placed in trust and the trust beneficiary interest was transferred to Tokyo Resi 33 GK.
Nippon Steel Kowa Real Estate is advancing new development of rental apartments under its Livio Maison series, while also purchasing real estate in its real estate solutions business.
