Chusho Kigyo Seicho Toshi acquired Chugai-Igakusha Building, an office property in Yaraicho, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, in March 2026. The seller was Chugai-Igakusha, a medical publisher, which sold the building about five months after acquiring it in October 2025.
The property sits along Ushigome Chuo-dori, a four-minute walk from Kagurazaka Station on the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line and a six-minute walk from Ushigome-Kagurazaka Station on the Toei Oedo Line. Togensha had owned the building for about 51 years since it was newly built in 1974, and moved its head office there in 1981. Ownership passed to Chugai-Igakusha in October 2025 through a distribution of surplus, leading to the current sale.
Seller Chugai-Igakusha was founded in 1952 and will keep its headquarters in the building after the sale. Buyer Chusho Kigyo Seicho Toshi has its head office in Yaraicho, the same district as the property.
