Kyoritsu Maintenance To Open Resort Hotel in Kyoto’s Omuro

Kyoritsu Maintenance will open Kyoto Omuro Kadensho, a resort hotel in Ukyo Ward, Kyoto, on May 24, 2026. It will be the third Kadensho-branded property in the Kyoto area, following Arashiyama Onsen Kadensho and Kyoto Umekoji Kadensho.
The property is located in front of Ninna-ji Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and about a two-minute walk from Omuro-Ninnaji Station on the Keifuku Electric Railroad Kitano Line. The hotel will have 67 guest rooms across 22 room types.
Hotel development continues in Kyoto on the back of lodging demand centered on inbound travelers. According to the Kyoto City Tourism Association, the share of foreign guests at major hotels in Kyoto reached 66.4% in 2025, marking the highest level since the data series began. Resort hotel development has also continued in areas close to temples, shrines and natural settings, including Aman Kyoto and ROKU KYOTO, LXR Hotels & Resorts in Kita Ward, and Suiran, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Kyoto in the Arashiyama area.
