Odakyu Real Estate Completes Cold Storage Facility in Nishinomiya, Hyogo
Odakyu Real Estate completed Odakyu Real Estate Logistics Center Naruohama Cold Storage, a logistics facility it had been developing in Naruohama, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture, in March 2026. It is the company’s seventh logistics facility and its first frozen and refrigerated warehouse.
The facility is a four-story steel-frame building with a Gross Floor Area of approximately 2,423 tsubo (approx. 86,200 sq. ft.). It provides a clear height under beams of 5.5 meters and a floor load capacity of 1.5 tons per square meter. The property is located about 1.1 kilometers from the Naruohama Interchange on the Hanshin Expressway Route 5 Bayshore Line, making it well suited for wide-area distribution to Osaka and Kobe. It is also a one-minute walk from the Hanshin Bus Naruohama Minami Daiichi stop, allowing employees to commute by public transportation. The warehouse is centered on temperature-adjustable zones that can be set between -25 degrees Celsius and +5 degrees Celsius, with some zones also available in the +10 degrees Celsius to +25 degrees Celsius range.
Amako Transport occupies the entire building as tenant and will use the facility as one of its warehouse bases in the Kansai region. Odakyu Real Estate plans to develop another logistics facility in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, as well as a frozen and refrigerated warehouse in Konan City, Shiga Prefecture, as it continues logistics facility development nationwide.
