Cosmos Initia To Open Shared Office in Ryogoku

Cosmos Initia, a Daiwa House Group company, will open MID POINT Ryogoku, a shared office in Ryogoku, Sumida Ward, Tokyo, in August 2026. It will be the 16th location in the company’s MID POINT series, a shared office brand that can be used by individuals starting from one person.

The facility will be located a one-minute walk from Ryogoku Station on the JR Sobu Line and a five-minute walk from Ryogoku Station on the Toei Oedo Line. It will occupy the eighth through 11th floors of a newly built building.

The vacancy rate for office buildings within a five-minute walk of Ryogoku Station declined from 3.68% in May 2024 to 2.61% in April 2026, indicating that supply-demand conditions have remained tight, according to an editorial department survey based on estie office research.

In its Medium-Term Management Plan 2028, the company has positioned the expansion of stock-type businesses, including leasing and operations, as part of its growth strategy. MID POINT is one of the company’s self-operated content businesses, and the opening in Ryogoku is positioned as an initiative to build operating income while capturing demand for small offices in response to the diversification of work styles.
