Prime Life Technologies to Open Apartment Hotel in Oshiage

Prime Life Technologies Corporation (PLT) and Panasonic Homes Co., Ltd. have completed "KOKO HOTEL Residence Tokyo Oshiage," an apartment hotel developed in Sumida Ward, Tokyo, with completion taking place in July 2026. Polaris Holdings Co., Ltd. will serve as the operator, and the hotel will open on July 16 of the same year. This marks PLT's first hotel development project.
The building rises seven stories above ground and has 25 guest rooms. Room sizes range from 42.3 sq. m (approx. 500 sq. ft.) to 58.2 sq. m (approx. 600 sq. ft.), with each room equipped with a kitchen, refrigerator, and washing machine to accommodate mid- to long-term stays by families and groups. The rooftop features a terrace with views of Tokyo Skytree.
PLT is a holding company with subsidiaries including Panasonic Homes, Toyota Homes, and Misawa Homes, and is engaged in urban development, housing construction, and real estate distribution and management. For this project, PLT owns the land and building, while Panasonic Homes handled the design and construction, adapting its heavy-gauge steel-frame rental housing product "Vieno" for hotel use.
The property is a five-minute walk from Oshiage Station, with Tokyo Skytree and Tokyo Solamachi also within walking distance. It is the third "KOKO HOTEL Residence" property in Tokyo developed by Polaris, following "Asakusa Kappabashi" and "Asakusa Tawaramachi." The company plans to open additional properties under the same brand in Kita-Ueno, Shin-Okachimachi, Honjo-Azumabashi, and Kyobashi, expanding its apartment hotel offerings targeting inbound visitors as well as families and group travelers.
