Tokyo Tatemono Completes "TOFROM YAESU THE FRONT" in Yaesu 1-chome

In the "Tokyo Ekimae Yaesu 1-chome East District A" Type 1 Urban Redevelopment Project, in which Tokyo Tatemono Co., Ltd. is participating, the mixed-use building "TOFROM YAESU THE FRONT" was completed on July 15, 2026.

The facility is located directly in front of the Yaesu exit of Tokyo Station and is directly connected to the station via the Yaesu underground shopping mall. The building rises 10 stories above ground and 2 stories below ground, with a gross floor area of approximately 3,700 tsubo (approx. 131,700 sq. ft.). It comprises office, retail, and clinic space. Office units range from approximately 26 to 163 tsubo (approx. 900 to 5,800 sq. ft.), and the rooftop features a terrace overlooking Tokyo Station for tenant companies.

In the same block, "TOFROM YAESU TOWER" was completed in February 2026, and with the completion of "TOFROM YAESU THE FRONT," the entire "TOFROM YAESU" block is now complete (see related article: Tokyo Tatemono Delivers Large-Scale Mixed-Use "TOFROM YAESU TOWER" in Front of Tokyo Station). It has also been announced that "TOFROM YAESU TOWER" will open on September 10, 2026, and the commercial zone spanning both buildings, "TOFROM YAESU Shop & Restaurant," will see a total of 68 stores, mainly restaurants, open in stages.

Around the Yaesu exit of Tokyo Station, redevelopment is underway across three districts in front of Tokyo Station: the "Tokyo Ekimae Yaesu 1-chome East District" covered here, along with "Tokyo Midtown Yaesu" and the "Yaesu 2-chome Naka District." Tokyo Midtown Yaesu, the first of these projects, opened in 2023. The Yaesu 2-chome Naka District plans to develop a mixed-use building with office floors of more than 1,900 tsubo (approx. 67,600 sq. ft.) in standard floor plate—among the largest in Tokyo—having broken ground in August 2024, with completion scheduled for the end of January 2029. With the completion of the "TOFROM YAESU" block, the continuous large-scale redevelopment underway in front of Tokyo Station enters a new phase.
