Logistics Facility Completed in Ichihara, Chiba, by Tokyu Land and JR West Properties

The logistics facility “LOGI'Q Ichihara,” developed by TOKYU LAND CORPORATION and JR West Properties Co.,Ltd., was completed on April 30, 2026. The property is located in Ichihara, Chiba Prefecture, approximately 5.3 kilometers from the Soga Interchange on the Keiyo Road and approximately 5.8 kilometers from the Ichihara Interchange on the Tateyama Expressway. The location is well suited for mid- to wide-area distribution covering the Tokyo metropolitan area and the broader Kanto region.

The building is a five-story, steel-frame structure with a Gross Floor Area of approximately 10,623 tsubo (approx. 1,161,900 sq. ft.). The facility is a multi-tenant logistics warehouse that includes office mezzanine floors and is designed to accommodate up to four tenants. It provides truck berths on both sides of the first floor and a ramp to the second floor, with a minimum divisible area of approximately 2,260 tsubo (approx. 247,200 sq. ft.). The property has 51 truck berths and four truck waiting spaces.

Reflecting its location near the Keiyo Coastal Industrial Zone, the facility’s four warehouse floors are designed with a floor load capacity of 2.0 tons per square meter. The second floor also features low-floor berths that allow forklifts to load and unload cargo directly from trucks. Solar panels have been installed on the roof and will be used to supply a portion of the building’s electricity.

Supply of logistics facilities continues in the Chiba Bay area. “DPL Chiba Rail Gate,” developed by Daiwa House Industry and JR Freight in Mihama Ward, Chiba City, was completed in September 2025. The Sankei Building and Haseko General Development are also developing a logistics facility in Shinko in the same ward, with completion scheduled for June 2027. In Narashino, Tokyo Tatemono plans to complete “T-LOGI Minami-Funabashi (tentative name)” in September 2026, while ZOZO plans to complete “ZOZOBASE Narashino 3” in February 2027. Backed by access to the Keiyo Road, Higashi-Kanto Expressway and Metropolitan Expressway Bayshore Route, supply of large-scale logistics facilities is progressing from Chiba City to Narashino.
