Hankyu Hanshin Properties Breaks Ground on SUITE Shinjuku Gyoemmae Office Building

Hankyu Hanshin Properties started construction on September 1, 2026, of SUITE Shinjuku Gyoemmae, a midsize office building in Shinjuku 1-chome, Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo. It is the fifth property in SUITE, the company's series of newly built midsize offices, and completion is scheduled for summer 2028.

The property sits along Shinjuku-dori, a two-minute walk from Shinjuku-gyoemmae Station on the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line and a nine-minute walk from Shinjuku-sanchome Station on the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line, the Tokyo Metro Fukutoshin Line and the Toei Shinjuku Line. It rises 12 stories with a typical floor plate of approximately 90 tsubo (approx. 3,200 sq. ft.). Every floor will be delivered as a full set-up office, with the second through ninth floors designated as standard floors and the 10th and 11th floors as premium floors overlooking Shinjuku Gyoen. Vacancy among office buildings with typical floor plates of 50 to 200 tsubo within a five-minute walk of Shinjuku-gyoemmae Station has tracked the level seen at Shinjuku-sanchome Station, the neighboring stop on the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line, standing at about 1.9% at the end of August 2026. Yotsuya-sanchome Station, the neighboring stop in the other direction, briefly climbed to nearly 5% in mid-2025 but has recently moved back toward the level of the other two stations (compiled by the editorial team based on estie office research).

In the SUITE series, SUITE Shin-Okachimachi and SUITE Shin-Yokohama have been completed to date.
