Daiwa LifeNext To Open Hostel in Osaka’s Shinsekai Area
Daiwa LifeNext will open GRAND HOSTEL LDK Osaka Shinsekai, a hostel in Ebisunishi, Naniwa Ward, Osaka City, on June 18, 2026. The property will be the fifth location under the company’s GRAND HOSTEL LDK hostel brand, and its second in Osaka City following GRAND HOSTEL LDK Osaka Shinsaibashi.
The hostel will include dormitory rooms accommodating up to 14 guests, private rooms for two to six guests and, in one room only, a Diorama Room equipped with a model railway. The property is located a two-minute walk from Dobutsuen-mae Station on the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line, in the Shinsekai area near Tsutenkaku Tower, positioning it to capture tourism demand, particularly from inbound travelers.
Daiwa LifeNext is a condominium and building management company in the Daiwa House Group, and also operates hotels. For the same brand, the company plans to open new properties in Hiroshima in 2026 and Nagoya in 2028.
In Naniwa Ward, hotel openings have been advancing amid the recovery in inbound demand.
