Daiwa House Acquires Retail Property in Ura-Harajuku Area of Shibuya

In May 2025, Daiwa House Industry Co., Ltd. acquired the retail building “Harajuku CS House” from Nippon Tatemono Co., Ltd. The transaction price was not disclosed.

The property is located in the Ura-Harajuku area of Shibuya Ward, between Meiji Dori and Cat Street. Completed in 1995, the four-story reinforced concrete building has a gross floor area of approximately 125 tsubo (approx. 4,130 sq. ft.). The location offers access to multiple train lines, situated within walking distance of Meiji-Jingumae Station (6 minutes), Harajuku Station (8 minutes), and Omotesando Station (10 minutes).

Daiwa House has not announced its post-acquisition plans, but given the building’s age and scale, redevelopment is likely.
