Daiwa House Breaks Ground on “DPL Kazo” Logistics Facility in Saitama
Daiwa House Industry announced that it has broken ground on “DPL Kazo” within the Kazo Kawaguchi Industrial Park in Kazo City, Saitama Prefecture. Construction began on September 16, and completion is scheduled for December 15, 2027.
The facility is located approximately 3.7 km from the Tohoku Expressway Kazo Interchange and about 2.2 km from Washinomiya Station on the Tobu Isesaki Line. The five-story building will have a gross floor area of approximately 36,644 tsubo (approx. 121,100 sq. ft.) and can accommodate up to 10 tenants.
A double rampway system will allow vehicles to access each floor directly, and the site will include a hazardous materials warehouse compliant with Category 4 hazardous substances. The project will feature rooftop solar panels and aims to achieve a 5-star BELS certification and Nearly ZEB performance standards.
