Japan Real Estate Investment Corporation to Relocate Head Office to Marunouchi Kitaguchi Building

Japan Real Estate Investment Corporation and its asset manager, Japan Real Estate Asset Management, will relocate their head offices to Marunouchi Kitaguchi Building in Marunouchi 1-chome, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, on February 1, 2027. Both currently have their head offices in Otemachi Park Building in Otemachi 1-chome in the same ward.

Mitsubishi Estate was involved in developing both the current and new buildings. Otemachi Park Building, the current location, is an office building completed in 2017 with Mitsubishi Estate as the building owner, and it houses Mitsubishi Estate's headquarters.

Marunouchi Kitaguchi Building, the new location, is one of the buildings that make up Marunouchi OAZO, completed in 2004 with Mitsubishi Estate, Nippon Life Insurance and others as building owners. Mitsubishi Jisho Investment Advisors and Mitsubishi Estate Logistics REIT Investment Corporation, whose assets it manages, have had their head offices in the building since 2019, and Mitsubishi Estate IT Solutions is also a tenant.

Japan Real Estate Investment Corporation is a J-REIT specializing in office buildings, sponsored by Mitsubishi Estate. With this relocation, the REIT will leave the building housing its sponsor's headquarters, and Mitsubishi Estate's two listed J-REITs and their respective asset managers will have their head offices in the same building.
