Audio-Technica Opens New Office “Technica House Fukuoka” in Historic Hakata District

On July 22, 2025, Audio-Technica Corporation opened a new office building, Technica House Fukuoka, in Gokusho-machi, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City. This marks the company’s third Technica House location, following its Tokyo (2001) and Osaka (2024) offices. By adding the Fukuoka base, Audio-Technica aims to unify its eastern and western Japan sales networks and strengthen its overall business foundation.

The new office is located in a historic district known for its temples, just a two-minute walk from Gion Station, offering excellent accessibility. The building incorporates traditional Japanese architectural elements, such as a gabled roof-style façade, circular windows, and white plaster walls. Audio-Technica occupies the 7th floor of the building.

The Fukuoka office consolidates the local functions of the Domestic Sales Department, the Professional Audio Sales Department, and the Special Equipment Department. It features an open desk policy and is equipped with the latest conferencing systems. Leveraging Fukuoka’s geographic advantage for accessing East Asian markets, the company plans to drive global expansion with a three-pronged structure spanning Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka.
