The Sankei Building Launches Its First Shared Office Brand “NOW/HERE”

The Sankei Building has announced the launch of its first proprietary shared office brand, “NOW/HERE.” The company plans to develop three locations initially — Shinjuku Yotsuya, Kita-Shinjuku, and Yokohama Kannai.

The Yotsuya property will be a major renovation project scheduled to open in April 2026, while Kita-Shinjuku and Kannai will be newly built facilities, both slated for completion by March 2026, followed by phased openings. Each property is designed with small subdivided office spaces to accommodate SMEs and project-based teams. The new buildings in Kita-Shinjuku and Kannai are also expected to include residential components.

All three locations are positioned slightly outside Tokyo’s prime office districts yet within convenient walking distance—five to seven minutes from nearby stations such as Akasaka Station (Yotsuya) and Okubo Station (Kita-Shinjuku). By keeping leasable floor areas compact and enhancing the quality of shared amenities, Sankei Building aims to attract tenants prioritizing low initial costs and flexibility.
