ES-CON Breaks Ground on “Hokkaido Ballpark Hotel Project” Under Banyan Group’s DHAWA Brand

ES-CON announced on November 10 that it has broken ground on the “(Tentative Name) Hokkaido Ballpark Hotel Project,” located within Hokkaido Ballpark F Village. The hotel will operate under DHAWA, a lifestyle brand by Banyan Group, and is slated to open in the fall of 2027.

The property will be situated adjacent to the outfield side of ES CON FIELD HOKKAIDO, overlooking the water-rich “Sawa Area.” The hotel will feature a restaurant, fitness center, spa, and both indoor and outdoor public baths. Operations will be managed by Japan Hotel Operations, a joint venture between Banyan Tree Japan and Intrans Hotels & Resorts.

A new train station is scheduled to open north of the site in 2028, improving access to major cities and airports. The hotel is expected to serve not only baseball fans and event attendees but also domestic and international tourists visiting Hokkaido. ES-CON has been actively developing residential, commercial, and hospitality projects in the F Village area, and this project aims to further enhance its value as a stay destination.
