TN Resorts LLC, a joint venture funded by Nishigaki Co., Ltd., Tobu Top Tours Co., Ltd., and Tobu Railway Co., Ltd., opened Grand Foresta Villa Nikko – Private Dog Resorts – on August 25, 2025, in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture. The property features a private dog run exceeding 1,000㎡ (approx. 10,764 sq. ft.) and all-weather dog runs at each villa, designed to capture demand from travelers accompanied by their pets.
TN Resorts LLC owns and operates the facility, with an investment ratio of 70% by Nishigaki, 15% by Tobu Top Tours, and 15% by Tobu Railway. The site spans approximately 9,942㎡ (approx. 107,043 sq. ft.) with six villa buildings, each guest unit measuring around 73㎡ (approx. 786 sq. ft.). Located about a 15-minute drive from Tobu Railway’s Shimo-Imaichi Station and 12 minutes from Imaichi IC, the JV integrates railway, travel, and lodging functions. Against the backdrop of growing demand for pet-friendly accommodations, the project aims to attract weekend travelers from the Tokyo metropolitan area while maintaining strong average daily rates.
Founded in 1950, Nishigaki is engaged in tourism and distribution businesses, with Marinetopia Resort at its core. Its operations span resort development and hotel management, restaurants, marinas, supermarkets, and elderly care services. In recent years, the company has shifted its focus from local retail to the tourism sector and expanded its footprint into the Kanto area. Leveraging its expertise in developing and operating roughly 300 glamping and resort facilities primarily in the Kansai region, Nishigaki will apply its know-how to this project as well.
