Denki Building Acquires Two Rental Office Buildings in Watanabe-dori, Fukuoka

Denki Building on April 3, 2026, acquired Nishitetsu Watanabe-dori Building and Nishitetsu Watanabe-dori 2-chome Building, two office buildings in Watanabe-dori, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka. Both properties are a three-minute walk from Watanabe-dori Station on the Fukuoka City Subway Nanakuma Line and Yakuin Station on the Nishitetsu Tenjin Omuta Line, and are located near Watanabe-dori, one of Fukuoka City’s main arterial roads. The buildings will be renamed Denki Building Watanabe-dori-kan and Denki Building Watanabe-dori 2-chome-kan, respectively.

Denki Building Watanabe-dori-kan is a seven-story SRC structure with a gross floor area of approximately 1,839 tsubo (approx. 60,793 sq. ft.) and was completed in April 1988 (38 years old). Denki Building Watanabe-dori 2-chome-kan is a six-story SRC structure with a gross floor area of approximately 1,210 tsubo (approx. 39,999 sq. ft.) and was completed in December 1984 (41 years old). Both properties are located in the Watanabe-dori/Yakuin district, a business zone in southern Tenjin.

This acquisition will further strengthen the group’s presence in the area.
