Mitsui Fudosan Completes Retail Building on Ginza Namiki Street

Abe Yoseido Building, a retail building in Ginza 5-chome, Chuo Ward, Tokyo, for which Mitsui Fudosan served as development manager on the redevelopment, was completed on March 31, 2026. The full opening is scheduled for Aug. 17, 2026.
The property is located along Ginza Namiki Street, a one-minute walk from Ginza Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza, Hibiya and Marunouchi lines and a five-minute walk from Yurakucho Station on the JR Yamanote and Keihin-Tohoku lines. The eight-story building has a Gross Floor Area of approximately 183 tsubo (approx. 6,500 sq. ft.) and retail space of approximately 134 tsubo (approx. 4,800 sq. ft.). Abe Yoseido, which operates the Yoseido Gallery founded in 1873, redeveloped its former building into a retail building over about two years starting in July 2024.
Yoseido Gallery will occupy the fifth through eighth floors. The first through fourth floors will house Jaeger-LeCoultre Ginza Flagship Boutique, the Japan flagship store of the Swiss luxury watch brand, and the top floor will include Atelier d’Antoine, an experiential program for learning about watchmaking, opening in Japan for the first time.
Along Ginza Namiki Street, building redevelopments have advanced in recent years, and watch, jewelry and luxury maison brands have continued to cluster in the area. In the Ginza area, demand for luxury consumption and art and cultural experiences has also been rising amid the recovery in inbound travel demand, and the project will complement the commercial concentration along Namiki Street.
