Sockets Relocates Headquarters to Yebisu Garden Place Tower to Enhance Hybrid Work Model

Sockets Inc. (Tokyo Stock Exchange Standard: 3634), a provider of recommendation engines and personalization APIs powered by cross-media sensibility metadata, relocated its headquarters on June 30, 2025, from the JPR Sendagaya Building to Yebisu Garden Place Tower in Tokyo.

Sockets has developed a proprietary "sensibility metadata" framework that tags millions of content pieces and public figures across five categories—music, video, books, broadcasting, and people. Leveraging this data infrastructure, the company offers database integration and AI-powered analysis to major clients in telecom, streaming, e-commerce, and advertising sectors. Key clients include KDDI, LINE MUSIC, Rakuten Group, and CyberAgent. Sockets is also expanding into adjacent domains such as “Leja Pass,” a subscription service for leisure facilities.

The new headquarters at Yebisu Garden Place Tower offers approximately 840 tsubo (approx. 27,750 sq. ft.) of standard floor space and a ceiling height of 2,630 mm. In 2023, it became the first property over 20 years old to achieve a “S” rating under the CASBEE Wellness Office certification. By consolidating its headquarters operations under a hybrid work model, Sockets aims to optimize rent efficiency while enhancing employee engagement and fostering innovation.
