Nomura Real Estate to Open "MEFULL Shibuya Dogenzaka" Service-Focused Retail Facility

Nomura Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. will open "MEFULL Shibuya Dogenzaka," a service-focused retail facility in Dogenzaka 1-chome, Shibuya Ward, Tokyo. The building is scheduled for completion in October 2026, with tenants opening in stages from January 2027. It is the ninth property in the "MEFULL" series and the first new opening since "MEFULL Kiba" in 2023.
The property is located in the Dogenzaka area, a three-minute walk from Shibuya Station on the Keio Inokashira Line. The building rises 10 stories above ground and 1 story below ground, with a floor area of approximately 36 tsubo (approx. 1,300 sq. ft.) per level. The company is considering attracting service-oriented tenants centered on the beauty, health, and wellness fields. In addition, in partnership with Hit Co., Ltd., an outdoor advertising company, a large digital signage display will be installed on the building's exterior wall.
Nomura Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. has been developing distinct retail brands tailored to use and location. "MEFULL" was established in 2020 as an urban retail concept specializing in service-oriented tenants, and has been developed mainly at station-front locations in the greater Tokyo area. The company also operates "GEMS," centered on restaurants in major urban entertainment districts, and "SOCOLA," a community-oriented retail brand developed mainly in suburban areas such as Tokorozawa. Through this project, the company aims to leverage its location within walking distance of Shibuya Station to capture demand for beauty- and health-related services from visitors and workers in the surrounding area.
