Daiwa House Industry Unveils Plan for “DPL Kawagoe” Multi-Tenant Logistics Facility

On July 24, Daiwa House Industry Co., Ltd. announced its development plan for "DPL Kawagoe," a new multi-tenant logistics facility. Construction is scheduled to begin on August 1, 2025, with completion slated for January 2027.

The planned site is located approximately 2.5 km from the Kawagoe Interchange on the Kan-Etsu Expressway and about 8 km from the Sayama-Hidaka Interchange on the Ken-O Expressway. It is also just a 15-minute walk from Minami-Otsuka Station on the Seibu Shinjuku Line, offering excellent access to public transportation.

The facility will feature a clear height of 5.5 meters and a floor load capacity of 1.5 tons per square meter. It is designed to accommodate up to two tenants. Parking will be provided for 126 standard vehicles and 37 bicycles, with a layout that prioritizes both efficient logistics operations and a comfortable working environment.

Since launching its logistics facility business under the “D Project” brand in 2002, Daiwa House has developed 351 sites across Japan, supplying a total gross floor area of approximately 14.3 million sq. meters and constructing over 3,000 buildings. This project marks the company’s 58th logistics facility in Saitama Prefecture.
