Sankei Building Forms Private Fund with Five Tokyo Rental Residential Properties
The Sankei Building and Sankei Building Asset Management (SAM) announced on October 2, 2026, that they had formed and begun operating a private fund for which SAM has been engaged as asset manager. The investment targets are five rental residential properties in Tokyo totaling 110 units, with total assets of approximately JPY 5.1 billion. The Sankei Building will make a same-boat investment alongside outside investors.
The portfolio comprises five properties: Tasuki Riches Shinjuku Yamabukicho (Shinjuku Ward, 14 units), Tasuki Riches Senzoku (Ota Ward, 14 units), Tasuki Riches Higashi-Koenji (Suginami Ward, 25 units), Tasuki Riches Kamata (Ota Ward, 34 units) and Tasuki Riches Meguro Himonya (Meguro Ward, 23 units). All are relatively new properties completed between May 2021 and November 2025.
The seller of all five properties was Tasuki. The properties were newly built by Propast, Reflem, Global Link Management, Kashiwabara Ground and Ascot, respectively, and Tasuki had acquired them between November 2025 and February 2026.
In December 2025, SAM also began operating a private fund investing in 10 rental residential properties in Tokyo. The Sankei Building Group has been expanding its private fund business against a backdrop of increasingly diverse investor needs, and says it will continue to build up assets under management.
