Sankei Building Launches Rental Housing Value-Add Business, Starting With Hatchobori Property
Sankei Building launched LUFON PROGRES réno, a value-add business that regenerates existing rental apartment buildings, on October 29, 2026. As the first project, renovation of LUFON PROGRES réno Ginza EAST in Minato 2-chome, Chuo-ku, was completed in June 2026.
The property is a four-minute walk from Hatchobori Station on the JR Keiyo Line and a six-minute walk from Shintomicho Station on the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line. Completed in 2003, the 12-story building consists of 60 units in 1DK and 1LDK layouts.
In the renovation, an indoor bicycle parking area with a DIY bicycle maintenance space and a residents-only fitness gym were added to the common areas. In the units, the existing layouts were retained, while housing equipment, mainly in wet areas, and air conditioning were updated and interior materials and color schemes were refreshed.
Together with Sogo Jisho and Marubeni Urban Development, Sankei Building is also pursuing (Tentative Name) Kobe Motoyama GO BEYOND Mansion Project, which will fully renovate an existing 161-unit condominium in Higashinada-ku, Kobe, and sell the units.
