Daiwa House Industry Breaks Ground on Multi-Tenant Logistics Facility in Fukuroi, Shizuoka

Daiwa House Industry on March 23, 2026, broke ground on DPL Shizuoka Fukuroi, a multi-tenant logistics facility in Fukuroi, Shizuoka Prefecture. Completion is scheduled for the end of January 2027, with tenant move-ins expected to begin in February of the same year. The project marks the company’s 16th logistics facility development in Shizuoka Prefecture.
The development site is located about 1 kilometer from the Tomei Expressway’s Fukuroi interchange and about 10 kilometers from the Shin-Tomei Expressway’s Mori-Kakegawa interchange, with frontage on National Route 1. The facility will be a two-story steel-structure building with a Gross Floor Area of approximately 2,421 tsubo (approx. 80,033 sq. ft.). It will offer a floor load capacity of 1.5 tons per square meter and a clear height under beams of 5.5 meters, and is being developed as a multi-tenant facility that can accommodate up to two tenants. A 556.2-kilowatt solar power generation system will be installed, and the project is targeting a five-star BELS rating and Nearly ZEB or higher certification.
Daiwa House Industry currently operates a total of 15 logistics facilities in Shizuoka Prefecture, including DPL Kakegawa and DPL Shin-Fuji, with combined Gross Floor Area of approximately 443,000 square meters. The company positions the prefecture as a key node in its logistics network.
