Mitsubishi Estate, Shimizu Join Development of “Gourmet Xchange,” a Food Logistics Facility in Singapore

Mitsubishi Estate Co. Ltd. and Shimizu Corp., together with Singapore major developer CapitaLand Development (CLD) and others, have joined the development project for “Gourmet Xchange,” a strata-titled logistics facility for food-related companies in Singapore’s Kallang district.

“Gourmet Xchange” is one of the largest strata-titled logistics and production facilities for the food industry in Singapore, with a site area of about 13,343 tsubo (approx. 474,786 sq. ft.), gross floor area of about 34,558 tsubo (approx. 1,229,683 sq. ft.), and 272 units. It consists of a nine-story multi-user ramp-up facility (264 units) and a three-story heritage terrace building (8 units), providing integrated support for the food supply chain, including food manufacturing, processing, storage and distribution. Food-and-beverage outlets and event space are also planned along the Kallang River, giving the project a role as a community hub. Construction started in September 2025, and completion is scheduled for 2029.

The site is located in the urban core, about a 10- to 15-minute drive from Orchard Road and Raffles Place, and within walking distance of three MRT stations, including Mattar Station on the Downtown Line. The facility is also expected to become the first strata-titled food-related logistics facility in Singapore to obtain the highest-tier Green Mark environmental certification, Platinum Super Low Energy (SLE).
