DHL Breaks Ground on Chitose Logistics Center for Semiconductor Industry

DHL Supply Chain Ltd. has commenced construction of the “Chitose Logistics Center,” a new multi-user logistics facility in Chitose, Hokkaido, designed to serve the semiconductor industry. Completion is scheduled for late 2026.
The site is located adjacent to a cluster of next-generation semiconductor manufacturers, approximately six minutes by car from New Chitose Airport and near the New Chitose Airport interchange. The facility will offer a gross floor area of approximately 4,400 tsubo (approx. 155,000 sq. ft.) with high flexibility and advanced operational capabilities to meet sophisticated logistics demands.
Sustainability features will include renewable energy utilization, rainwater recycling, and LED lighting with motion sensors.
