On July 22, bio-AI startup Craif Inc. relocated its headquarters to THE PORTAL iidabashi, a multi-tenant office building in Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo. The new office expands its gross floor area to approximately 1,418 tsubo (approx. 46,860 sq. ft.), about three times larger than its former location, to accommodate workforce growth driven by rapid organizational expansion.

The property is an RC-structured building completed in 1991, with four stories above ground and two basement levels. Standard floor plates are approximately 276 tsubo (approx. 9,120 sq. ft.), featuring individual air-conditioning, raised OA floors, and security systems, following a major renovation of common areas in 2021. Located an eight-minute walk from JR and Tokyo Metro’s Iidabashi Station, the building offers convenient access to central Tokyo.

Founded at Nagoya University, Craif is a deep-tech startup specializing in ultra-early cancer detection. Its proprietary NANO IP® platform analyzes microRNA (miRNA) and DNA found in urine and saliva using advanced AI technology. The company’s “MySignal” risk assessment services have already been adopted by over 1,000 medical institutions nationwide. Craif has raised approximately JPY 8.2 billion to date and is pursuing global expansion, including FDA approval and future insurance reimbursement in the U.S.

Since 2024, Craif has been rapidly expanding not only its R&D operations but also its business development and sales divisions. In April 2025, the company expanded its Nagoya lab and completed its Series C funding round. The relocation aims to secure sufficient office space to support mid- to long-term organizational growth and continuous hiring.
