Tokyo Gas Real Estate Completes Student Housing “Latierra Academico Kitasenju”

Tokyo Gas Real Estate has completed construction of its new student-only rental residence, Latierra Academico Kitasenju. With this project, the company’s rental housing portfolio now totals 36 properties and 2,298 units. The property is within walking distance of Kitasenju Station and is supplied exclusively as a student residence.

The building is a 15-story reinforced concrete structure with 84 units, and features rooftop solar panels that partially power lighting and outlets in the community room. Surplus electricity is stored in onsite batteries and can continue supplying the community room during power outages. Solar-powered streetlights with outlets are installed on the premises to help secure emergency power.

The Latierra series is positioned as an urban rental residence brand built around the concept of “Living your own way today, for the future you.” The series emphasizes safety, security, and environmental responsibility.
