Mercuria Holdings Joins For-Sale Condominium Development in Ho Chi Minh City

Mercuria Holdings in February 2026 signed a joint venture agreement related to a for-sale condominium development project in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Group companies Mercuria (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and Mercuria (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. will participate alongside Marimo Global Limited (under Marimo Holdings) and local developer Bcons Construction Investment Joint Stock Company.

The planned site is located in Tan Dong Hiep Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, approximately 20 kilometers from the CBD. The project site area is approximately 8,240 sq m (approx. 88,695 sq. ft.) and will comprise three condominium buildings totaling around 800 units. Unit sizes are expected to range from approximately 30–70 sq m (approx. 323–753 sq. ft.), with completion targeted for 2028. Under the role allocation among the parties, Bcons will serve as the core driver of development execution, while the Marimo HD group will participate as a developer by leveraging Japan-quality residential development know-how. The Mercuria HD group will provide asset management capabilities and oversee project management.

Mercuria HD established a local subsidiary in Ho Chi Minh City in 2022 and has already executed its first investment with Bcons on the “Greenland Binh An” condominium in Binh Duong Province. This transaction marks the second collaboration with Bcons, steadily expanding its operating footprint in Vietnam. Japanese companies have also been entering Southeast Asia’s residential market—for example, Tokyo Tatemono is advancing a for-sale condominium development in Bangkok.
