Hankyu Hanshin Properties to Develop Second U.S. Logistics Facility in California’s Inland Empire

Hankyu Hanshin Properties announced on October 16, 2025, that through its U.S. subsidiary, Hankyu Hanshin Properties USA LLC, it will develop a logistics facility named Menifee Commerce Center in Menifee, California, located in the Inland Empire region. The project will be jointly developed with Core5 Industrial Partners, LLC, a local subsidiary of Kajima Corporation, and is scheduled for completion in 2026.

The project site is situated in Southern California’s Inland Empire, near major highway interchanges and adjacent to the Greater Los Angeles metropolitan area. With a site area of approximately 63,500 tsubo (approx. 2.1 million sq. ft.) and a gross floor area of about 29,400 tsubo (approx. 970,000 sq. ft.), the facility is envisioned as a large-scale, state-of-the-art warehouse designed to accommodate automation systems that address labor shortages. This marks Hankyu Hanshin Properties’ second logistics development project in the U.S., following its first in Buford, Georgia.
