Obayashi-Shinseiwa Real Estate Completes Logistics Facility in Fukuoka’s Higashi Ward
Obayashi-Shinseiwa Real Estate, a member of the Obayashi Group, completed OAK LOGISTICS CENTER Fukuoka Hakozaki, a logistics facility it had been developing in Hakozaki, Higashi Ward, Fukuoka City, at the end of May 2026. The facility is the fourth property in the OAK LOGISTICS CENTER series and the first in Kyushu.
The facility is a four-story box-type building with a Gross Floor Area of approximately 8,383 tsubo (approx. 298,200 sq. ft.). It can accommodate a single-tenant lease or be divided into two sections. The first floor has 20 raised-floor truck berths, while each floor provides a floor load capacity of 1.5 tons per square meter and a clear height under beams of 5.5 meters. The site also includes space for a separate warehouse for hazardous materials storage. The facility is located about 650 meters from the Hakozaki interchange entrance and exit on the Fukuoka Urban Expressway Route 1 Kashii Line and a five-minute walk from Hakozaki-Kyudaimae Station on the Fukuoka City Subway Hakozaki Line, supporting both regional distribution and employee commuting convenience.
The facility uses a structure in which the Obayashi Group is involved from development and construction through operations management. The group has also established a similar system at other facilities, including OAK LOGISTICS CENTER Hassamu, OAK LOGISTICS CENTER Eniwa and OAK LOGISTICS CENTER Nagoya, under which group companies promote the value chain on an integrated basis.
