Mizuno To Relocate Tokyo Headquarters to Large New Office Building in Osaki

Mizuno will relocate its Tokyo headquarters from Kanda-Ogawamachi, Chiyoda Ward, to Osaki Riverwalk Garden in Higashi-Gotanda, Shinagawa Ward. The relocation is scheduled for around fall 2027.

The company maintains headquarters in both Osaka and Tokyo. Its Tokyo headquarters is currently located in a company-owned building completed in 1974 in Kanda-Ogawamachi, an area known for its concentration of sporting goods stores. As the company marks its 120th anniversary in 2026, it decided to relocate to a new base for its next stage of growth.

Osaki Riverwalk Garden is the district name for the Higashi-Gotanda 2-chome District No. 3 Type 1 Urban Redevelopment Project. The approximately 1.6-hectare district, located between Osaki Station and Gotanda Station, will include a park, residential tower and office tower. The office tower will be a large-scale office building with 20 floors above ground and two basement levels, a typical floor plate of approximately 775 tsubo (approx. 27,600 sq. ft.), and completion scheduled for February 2027. Tokyu Architects & Engineers also plans to relocate its headquarters to the building in summer 2027, indicating that major companies’ headquarters functions are becoming increasingly concentrated in the area.
