Tokyu Design Consultant To Relocate Headquarters to Large Newly Built Building in Osaki

Tokyu Design Consultant will relocate its headquarters from Nakameguro in Meguro Ward, Tokyo, to Osaki Riverwalk Garden in Higashi-Gotanda, Shinagawa Ward. The move is scheduled for summer 2027. As the company approaches its 55th anniversary in April 2028, it plans to consolidate its departments onto a single floor to strengthen collaboration and support business expansion. Its current Nakameguro headquarters is a company-owned building acquired in 1976 and has been used for about 50 years.

Founded in 1973 through the spin-off of the design and supervision division of Tokyu Land, the company is a full-service design consultant. Of its 261 employees, 118 are first-class architects. The firm has been involved in numerous large-scale Tokyu Group projects, including Shibuya Scramble Square, Tokyu Kabukicho Tower, and Futako Tamagawa Rise.

The relocation destination, Osaki Riverwalk Garden, is the office component of a mixed-use development under the Higashi-Gotanda 2-chome No. 3 Urban Redevelopment Project, in which Tokyu Land is participating as an association member. The property is a large-scale office building with 20 above-ground floors and a typical floor plate of approximately 775 tsubo (approx. 27,455 sq. ft.). The overall redevelopment area spans approximately 1.6 hectares and will also include Branz Tower Osaki, a 40-story residential tower with 389 units, as well as a park of approximately 1,500 square meters, as integrated placemaking continues along the Meguro River.
